William Arthur Sinnett was born in Greenwich, London in 1883. He joined the Royal Navy in 1901. He transferred to the Royal Fleet Reserve in 1905 with the proviso that he was to serve to 12 May 1913. He served as a Signalman in WWI, primarily aboard HMS Dolphin until he was discharged to take up Civil Employment in 1916.
According to the 1911 census he was a fireman with the London Fire Brigade - it was with them that he was awarded the 1911 Coronation Medal. He had been promoted to Sub-Officer with the London Fire Brigade by the time of the 1921 census.
He died in Catford, Kent on 23 February 1930.
Medals are in good condition unless indicated otherwise. Sold with some research. Please note the last digit of the service number on the Star differs to that on the other medals but all medals are to the same man.
