Harold (Harry) Davidson served with both the RAMC and Metropolitan Police. He joined K Division of the Met Police on 25.3.1895 (Warrant No.80323) and was pensioned from the same Division 12/4/1920. He was entitled to the 1897, 1902 and 1911 Medals.

He went to France on 5.8.1915 with the RAMC and was discharged on 14.7.1919. He was awarded the MSM in the Peace Gazette of 5 June 1919 whilst with 10 Mobile Laboratory RAMC. He was also noted as renumbered in 1920 to 7248352. The MSM was awarded in 1919 (Peace Gazette), 11th Mobile Laboratory RAMC.
