John Reginald Harry Hyde was born in Cheetham, Lancashire in 1895. He served with the VIIth Army Cyclist Corps in WWI
According to the 1939 Register he was living at 43 Howarth Road, Bradford and was a Provision Importers Salesman. He was also the Deputy Area Officer for East and West Riding for Bacon and Food Distribution - an important position leading up to the war.
He died in Blackpool in 1985.
