Frank Charles Langley was born in Deptford St Paul, London in 1884. A Postman by occupation, whilst living at 74 Napier Street he attested for service as a Gunner in the Kent Artillery Militia on 28 October 1901. On 14 December 1901 he transferred to the Army Ordnance Corps where he was top spend the remainder of his military career. 

He was posted to Egypt as a Sergeant/ Sub Conductor on 5 November 1914 and was Mentioned in General Allenby's Dispatch of 11 June 1918 for distinguished and gallant service in Egypt. Whilst in Egypt he was a paid-up member of the Lord Kitchener Lodge of the Free Masons in 1915.

At some point he was deployed to France where he was awarded the Meritorious Service Medal in recognition of valuable service rendered in France & Flanders - the announcement appeared in the LG of 17 January 1919.

He died in Feltham, Middlesex on 29 August 1963 

Medals are in good condition unless indicated otherwise. Sold with some research. Please note difference in number 4912/4712 - medals are however, to the same man.
