Ernest Walter Seach was born in Ilford, Essex in 1899. He joined the Royal Navy in 1915 and saw action at the Battle of Jutland aboard HMS Gloucester. Having transferred to the Royal Fleet Reserve he joined the General Post Office in 1931.
He served with the RFR until 1938 and was awarded the LSGCM on 27.7.1934.
According to the 1939 Register he was a Postman living at 75 Herbert Road, East Ham.
He was awarded the Imperial Service Medal as per LG 1 September 1967 page 9595 as a Technician, Class II(A),
London Telecommunications Region.
He passed away on 17 March 1982 in Sidcup, Kent
