Beatrice Ethel Maud Giddings was born in Buntingford, Herts in 1896 (some records show 1904). She served in the Auxiliary Territorial Service. Section of 1st Corps 21 Army British Army of the Rhine and was demobilised 26.8.1945
According to the 1939 Register she was living at 2 Rosebery Villas, Heath End, Weybourne (Farnham) and was "A.T.S. W17224 Acting Section Leader. She was also attached to the 2nd County of London Clerical Company.
Her medals were sent to her on 22 June 1948 to 40 St Dunstan's Road, Baron's Court, London, W.6.
She died in Eastbourne, Sussex in 1985.
