Francis Gerald Lee was born in Fosbury, Wilts in 1895. He served with the 2nd Bn Hampshire Regiment and was posted to Gallipoli on 15.6.1915. Aged 20 he Died of Wounds in 89 Field Ambulance on 24.6.1915, a mere NINE days after landing.
His next of kin was his parents who lived at Welmore Cottages, Hinton Waldrist, Paringdon, Hampshire.
