Charles Dixon came from Coventry and served with the 7th Battalion, Duke of Cornwall Light Infantry in WWI. He reputedly had prior service with the Royal Warwickshire Regiment. He was posted to France on 6.5.1915 and reported Wounded in Action on 3.10.1915. He was Killed in Action on 3.9.1916.

His next of kin was his mother, Elizabeth, of 11 Bond St Coventry.

He is remembered on the Thiepval Memorial.
